hi rck.
my first football game was todayy...i mean, the first game we got to cheer in..
it was really fun! i can't wait for another game. (ps before i go any further..sorry rica i forgot to take pics..i was tired when i got home and forgot about it lol)

first off...half the girls on the team didnt go because they were busy. its cause we found out about this game last minute, so this is the only game you're allowed to miss.

it was our first game of the season so i guess we were all nervous. i messed up a few times but i went back into it, as so did other people (including the captain haha) but we all just laughed it off.

so its cheerleading etiquette to start cheering AFTER the other team's cheerleaders have finished their current cheer. we followed it, the other team didn't. so at halftime, our squad was gonna go to the other side, for the captain to tell them you're not supposed to cheer when we're already cheering. instead of telling them that, we automatically got pulled into a group picture by a bystander that absolutely insisted we take a pic ALL together. so yeah, we got distracted, then all of a sudden a few girls on the other team was like "ZOMG LET'S DO A CIRCLE CHEER?"

Since we didnt know what a circle cheer was, they just showed it to us and had us join it. it's like kindgergarden where you stand in a circle and sing a song, meanwhile a few people are dancing/hopping around. that was pretty fun. there was one that went pepsi cola or something. then we went to the bathroom with 4 minutes left...and somehow halftime ended with 4 minutes left, so we had to run to our side...lol it was embarrassing to be late for our own game XDD

SO YEAHHH. every tues, wed, thurs we have practice, and we're gonna start mounting and learning the dance for pep rally...im excitedd :D
